Black Lives Matter influencers have been posting AI photos of themselves urinating on the grave of Austin Metcalf, the white teenager stabbed to death by Karmelo Anthony, the black teenager who has now been convicted of murder. Anthony has been sentenced to 35 years behind bars. The incident was not racially charged, per witnesses, but the fallout from the case has been.

The disturbing trend has been gaining viral attention on social media, where the influencers are seen posing next to the gravesite and urinating on it. Those BLM influencers that have been seen posting the pictures include those with the social media names Mari Hicks, Be Ah Doll, babyjunglerich, and onebigrichfolkz74.

Each of the accounts appears to have made their page private or taken down their page completely after the images of them urinating on the gravesite was posted by Libs of TikTok on X.

Libs of TikTok said in the post, “There’s a new disturbing social media trend of BLM activists posting edited images of themselves urinating on Austin’s grave You can’t get much lower than this. Make these POS scum famous.”

Anthony was convicted earlier this week and then sentenced to 35 years in prison for the murder of Metcalf. He stabbed Metcalf at a track meet at Memorial High School in Frisco, Texas in April 2025.

Anthony filed an appeal for the conviction the day after the sentencing. Anthony was 17 at the time of the stabbing in April 2025. He claimed that he had stabbed Metcalf in self-defense. However, witnesses at trial said that this defense was not accurate and that Anthony was the aggressor. 

The stabbing had taken place at the Memorial High School team tent at a track meet, where Anthony was told to leave at least 15 times, per witnesses, including by Metcalf. Anthony refused to leave, and told Metcalf, “Touch me and see what happens” as he reached inside his backpack for the five-inch blade he brought onto school grounds, against regulations.

Metcalf shoved Anthony, and the convict stabbed him in the chest in response after instigating the situation. Metcalf then bled to death in his twin brother’s arms.
