President Trump said on Thursday that the US will launch additional attacks on Iran for a second day in a row and threatened to take over Iran’s energy and oil infrastructure.  

Trump announced on Truth Social earlier that the US will be hitting Iran “VERY HARD TONIGHT” Iran and taking Kharg Island, Iran’s oil export hub, “in the not too distant future.”

Trump said the US will “assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela.”

The United States will be hitting Iran (Whose Navy, Air Force, Radar, Anti Aircraft, and all other forms of Defense, together with most of its offensive capability, are GONE!), VERY HARD TONIGHT. At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela, which is working out brilliantly for both Venezuela and the United States of America. Trump later told Fox News this morning, “There will be more bombing tonight,” describing the incoming strikes as “bigger” and “more powerful.”

“Don’t forget, we’ve knocked out all of their anti-aircraft. They don’t have any anti— they have nothing. They may get lucky with a shoulder weapon or something,” Trump said. “But for the most part, you know, they have no, they have no defense.”

Trump also floated putting “a small group of soldiers” on the ground in Iran to “take over the whole place.”

Per Fox’s Trey Yingst, Trump had previously said on Wednesday, “We’ll bomb the sh*t out of them tomorrow night” if Iran refuses to sign a deal.

When asked if the ceasefire between Iran and the US, which began in April, is over, Trump said, pointing to continued attacks from Iran, “This is not really a ceasefire because it’s one of the worst ceasefires in history.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, US forces executed two rounds of “self-defense” strikes against Iran on Wednesday in response to Iran shooting down a US Army helicopter on Monday. “We’re going to be attacking them, attacking them very hard,” Trump told reporters on Wednesday. “Based on the helicopter, I guess we have the right to do that.”
