(VIDEO) Trump Responds to Biden’s Lawsuit to Block Ghostwriter Audio Tapes – Urges Acting AG Blanche to Fight for Release

President Trump on Wednesday responded to Joe Biden’s attempt to hide his ghostwriter interviews from the public during his cabinet meeting on Wednesday, slamming the Democrats for nearly destroying the country.
“I would like to see what he has to say because we can never allow what happened to this country to happen,” Trump said when asked about the tapes by LindellTV’s Cara Castronuova. “The man was grossly incompetent, and the Democrats – I call them the Dumocrats because the policy is so bad – but they came very close to destroying our country.”
Trump further signaled to acting Attorney General Todd Blanche that he wants Biden’s lawsuit seeking to block the release of the tapes dismissed.
“I hope that you’re able to produce that. I think it would be very interesting reading for people,” he told Blanche.
WATCH:
Castronuova: Why do you think that Joe Biden is trying to sue the Department of Justice, former President Joe Biden, to have his tapes that he did interviews on blocked from the American people hearing them? Do you think that he’s trying to hide something? And maybe Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch could comment on if they will countersue and release those tapes to the American public
Trump: With respect to his book? I don’t know, maybe there’s some constitutional reason. I don’t know. I’d like to, I would like to see what he has to say because we can never allow what happened to this country to happen. The man was grossly incompetent, and the Democrats – I call them the Dumocrats because the policy is so bad – but they came very close to destroying our country. We can never let it happen again. And I hope that you’re able to produce that. I think it would be very interesting reading for people.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Biden sued the Justice Department over the release of recordings and transcripts from his memoir interviews, which were used in then-Special Counsel Robert Hur’s 2023 classified documents investigation.
Hur found that Joe Biden “willfully retained” classified information but decided not to charge him because he was determined to be a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” The brutal tapes from Hur’s interview with Biden were evidence that the former President was mentally incapacitated and could not carry out his duties as Commander-in-Chief.
The Heritage Foundation previously requested the ghostwriter tapes under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) after Hur’s report became public, but the Biden DOJ fought the request.
After taking office, the Trump DOJ has notified Biden’s team that it would comply with the request and release the tapes on June 15.
Trump responded to Biden’s lawsuit, blasting him as a “crooked politician” on Tuesday.
