Shootings erupt near West Bank, killing at least 1 and injuring 5

A series of shooting attacks near the Israeli-occupied West Bank on Sunday left one person dead and at least five others wounded, prompting a large-scale security response by Israeli authorities, according to an AP News report.
Israeli emergency officials said the violence unfolded across multiple locations, beginning with reports of gunfire at a gas station near Kokhav Yair, a community situated along the boundary with the West Bank.
Additional shootings were reported shortly afterward in nearby towns and near an Israeli settlement inside the territory.
