MAMDANI’S NYC: Teen stomps on girl’s head after she refuses to give him her number

A disturbing video has captured a teenage boy in NYC violently attacking a girl who declined to share her phone number with him, according to police.
The footage showed the 14-year-old confronting a 15-year-old girl at East 107th Street and 3rd Avenue in East Harlem around 3:30 pm on Monday after school hours. The teen male who committed the assault has been charged and is due in court.
“I’ll knock the sh*t out of you right now,” the teen threatened while he blocked her path. A bystander with the teen egged him on and said, “Do it.”
“You stand right here,” he demands, gesturing to the spot in front of him.
When she attempted to move around him, he got physical and then pulled her by her arm as she was trying to get away from the situation.
“Get the f*ck away from me, p*ssy,” she responds before turning to leave. The teen then grabbed her from behind, lifting her up and slamming the teenage girl on the ground. As she lay injured and defenseless, the perpetrator stomped on her head before he left.
The victim sustained a concussion and was transported by EMS to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, according to the New York Post, citing police sources. The girl was trying to avoid the teenager after he asked for her phone number. The perpetrator was arrested on assault charges and is scheduled for family court on Thursday.
The viral video surfaced as there have been increasing worries about crime in New York with Zohran Mamdani being elected as mayor. Leading up to his election, NYPD officers said they would leave the force. He was also slammed by police after he said that teenagers pelting ice and snow at cops were just in a “snowball fight.”
