Feds announce election fraud probes in California over ‘serious structural vulnerabilities’ as primary vote count drags on

A top federal official in California revealed Friday that his office and the FBI are actively investigating multiple cases of alleged election fraud as California faces scrutiny over its slow ballot-counting process. First Assistant US Attorney Bill Essayli stated he is collaborating with the Department of Justice “to conduct a comprehensive audit of California’s voter rolls.”

“California’s election system has serious structural vulnerabilities. Universal vote-by-mail with no voter ID requirements creates conditions where fraud can go undetected and unpunished, eroding public confidence,” Essayli wrote on X.

“Without commenting on any specific investigation, my office has multiple election fraud investigations underway in coordination with @FBILosAngeles. We will follow the evidence wherever it leads and prosecute any violations of federal election law to the fullest extent. My office is also working closely with @AAGDhillon to conduct a comprehensive audit of California’s voter rolls. The state has stonewalled every effort to verify that only eligible U.S. citizens are registered to vote. This case is now before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. My office will not look the other way. We will investigate and prosecute. Every legal vote deserves to be counted. Every illegal vote cancels one out,” he added.

After he announced the investigations, Dhillon responded, “Ask yourselves — why does California (& many other states) hide their voter rolls from the federal government at the same time they gladly hand them over to liberal activist groups?!”

The move from Essayli comes just days after President Donald Trump said that Democrats in California are “trying to steal” the LA mayoral as well as gubernatorial elections.

On Friday, Essayli said that there was “evidence of election fraud” in California, referring to a case in May where a woman was exposed by James O’Keefe’s OMG for paying homeless people on Skid Row to register to vote as well as sign petitions.

According to the New York Post, on Wednesday evening, only an additional 77,5121 ballots had been counted since election night in Los Angeles County alone, and there were around 713,180 ballots that had not been counted yet in the system.
