Delaney Hall illegal alien detainees enjoy yoga, aromatherapy, as agitators block staffers from leaving, shout ‘kill yourself’

As left-wing agitators continue to participate in demonstrations outside the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in New Jersey, detainees inside have access to a range of amenities, including yoga sessions, computer access, and top-tier gym equipment.
According to a report by the New York Post, inmates in the detention center are enjoying yoga sessions that include lavender-scented aromatherapy. Representative Jeff Van Drew, who toured the facility, explained that inmates have access to “full soccer fields and an excellent gym.”
“They’ve got a squat machine, they’ve got a machine for bench pressing. Also a fly, reverse fly. Leg machines, all the stuff you have in a real full-service gym,” he said, calling it “way better” than the fitness center in his DC apartment building.
Officials told Van Drew that detainees are able to participate in these yoga sessions. Additionally, a web posting from GEO Reentry Services, an arm of the company that runs the facility and others, highlights yoga and wellness programs. The workouts reportedly include “meditation and mindfulness sessions” and “lavender and tangerine aromatherapy to create a calming and invigorating environment.” Detainees can “learn about the latest research about the benefits of aromatherapy and meditation at other facilities, including San Quentin, Folsom and Walpole.”
At the same time as detainees are enjoying yoga and other amenities, leftist rioters and agitators have attempted to block staff from leaving the facility in cars.
Footage posted on X by Freedom News TV showed agitators continuing to clash with ICE agents at Delaney Hall on Friday night. One agitator was seen telling an ICE agent that he should “kill himself.” The ICE agent and other feds detained the agitator in response.
Agitators were seen swarming several ICE facility cars as they tried to leave. In once instance, someone was hit by the vehicle.
At least two anti-ICE agitators were taken into custody during the chaotic riot on Friday, per Fox News. There have been many other arrested over the last couple weeks as the riots and demonstrations have continued.
The report of the yoga sessions come as agitators have continuously been outside the facility, arguing that conditions inside are inhumane. New Jersey Democratic Senator Andy Kim, who was previously pepper-sprayed during a confrontation outside the building, had earlier alleged that there were “unsanitary conditions,” and that he “saw food that was spoiled.” However, he has since changed his tune.
“Some of my colleagues that have been there more recently, as of yesterday, said that it seemed like that it’s cleaner, that there are some improvements,” he said.
A spokesperson for GEO Group said that the facility had “fitness and wellness programming focused on physical health and stress reduction.” The inmates also have indoor activities that “include dominoes, card games and special events.”
