UAE claims to have the ‘full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks’.
The ceasefire in the Middle East seems to have been broken today, as the United Arab Emirates reports that Iran fired four missiles toward its territory.
The UAE says that it is actively engaging with a ‘missile and drone attack’.

Axios reported:
“There were also fires reported at a fuel facility in the UAE and on ships off its coast. Iran has not claimed responsibility for any of the apparent attacks.
This would be the first time Iran attacked a Gulf state since the ceasefire was announced nearly a month ago. The U.S. and Iran may now be on the precipice of a return to war.”
The UAE has strongly condemned Iran’s attacks tonight.
They also state they have the “full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks.”
The UAE has been absorbing Iranian strikes since February 28. 537 ballistic missiles, 2,256 drones, 26 cruise missiles intercepted… https://t.co/eVzyloSS4r pic.twitter.com/NkdGxf6seb

The attacks come after Trump launched the ‘Project Freedom’ to secure ships through the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran threatened to respond with ‘force’.
“The UAE’s Defense Ministry said three cruise missiles coming from Iran were intercepted and a fourth fell into the sea, and told its citizens the loud booms heard inside the country were the result of those aerial interceptions. Less than an hour later, the Defense Ministry said it was responding to another attack.
Separately, a government media office in the emirate of Fujairah said a drone had struck a fuel facility there, starting a fire.”
UAE MOD confirms: air defenses actively engaging ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. Again.
This is wave 6.
The sounds across the UAE tonight are interceptions, not impacts. So far.
Trump just posted his response to the attacks.
