‘BRUTAL’: Mother, child, pregnant teen girl savagely murdered an Alabama home—18-month-old only one left alive

Authorities in Alabama made a grim discovery on Monday, with three people, including a 12-year-old boy and a pregnant teen, being found brutally murdered in their Wilmer home. While authorities say investigators currently have “positive leads” in the case, no suspects have been arrested.
Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch said deputies responded to the home just after 2:30 am on Monday, where the bodies were found in separate rooms with their hands bound behind their backs. The victims have been identified as 46-year-old mother Lisa Gail Fields and her two children: 17-year-old Keziah Arionna Luker and 12-year-old Thomas Cordelle Jr. Per Fox News, Fields was stabbed and Luker was shot. Fields and Cordelle had their throats slashed, with the boy’s throat being cut so deeply he was nearly decapitated.
An 18-month-old child was found unharmed in the home. Luker was between seven and eight months pregnant. The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office is considering filing a fourth murder charge due to the death of Luker’s unborn child.
Burch said, “It was a brutal scene. If you’ve got a beef with an adult… there’s nothing worth killing over, but to murder two children brutally… I hope and feel comfortable we’ll have this animal or animals off the streets soon.” He said that authorities do not currently suspect “any kind of domestic for family-type situation.”
He said the home had been “left in disarray,” suggesting that those responsible were searching for something. Investigators believe more than one person was involved in the murders.
The father of Luker’s child, who works offshore, became concerned after he could not reach Luker after seeing her cell phone active on Life 360. Another family member went to the house and made the gruesome discovery.
Luker’s father said she had just received her GED, adding, “It’s a senseless murder. She was a bubble of sunshine. A person that makes you smile; a person that’ll make you laugh whenever you’re down. She had empathy for everybody. She loved her brothers; she loved her mom; she loved all of us.”
