NASCAR confirmed Thursday that Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup Series champion and one of the winningest drivers in motorsports history, has died at 41 following a sudden illness.

Busch had been hospitalized and was scheduled to compete in the upcoming Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
