An FBI raid is underway in Portsmouth, Virginia at the office of Virginia Senate President pro tempore L. Louise Lucas.

Law enforcement sources told Fox News that the raid is in connection with a major corruption probe. Search warrants are being served at Lucas’ office and a cannabis dispensary located next door.

FBI agents were seen taking boxes out of the building, and staffers for the office were told they could not come back inside. Per Fox News, Lucas is associated with a number of cannabis dispensaries in the state.  SWAT teams were seen at the dispensary next door with their weapons drawn, ordering those inside to come out with their hands up. A number of people have been taken into custody.
