Austin Police on Sunday told residents to shelter in place amid reports of multiple shootings.
The Austin Police Department is looking for two suspects involved in as many as 10 shootings since Saturday.
At least four people are injured.
“SHELTER IN PLACE: Austin Police officers continue to search for suspects located to multiple shootings and have issued a shelter in place in the areas of South Slaughter Ln, East McKinney Falls Pkwy, North Ben White Blvd., and West Escarpment Blvd. Residents in the surrounding area are instructed to stay indoors until further notice,” The Austin PD said.

Austin Mayor Kirk Watson and Chief Lisa Davis provided a briefing on the developing situation.
Police described the suspects as two Hispanic males in their late teens.

The Austin Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects accused of multiple shootings on Saturday and Sunday.
The suspects have carried out up to 10 attacks, injuring as many as four people, according APD Chief Lisa Davis. One victim sustained serious injuries, and the other three have minor injuries.
According to police, there is no specific motive to the shootings, and they appear to be random. At least two of the shootings occurred at Austin fire stations, and most of the shootings have occurred in South Austin.
They are driving a black or dark blue 2012 Hyundai Sonata with a broken right passenger window, pictured below. Police said the suspects have been stealing and switching vehicles. The suspects may also be driving a gold Hyundai sedan, silver Mazda four-door or a white Kia Optima, police said. Davis has urged residents to not leave their vehicles unlocked.
