Joe Biden on Friday evening gave a speech to Democrats in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Biden slowly lumbered down three steps as he made his way to the stage.

And Jill Biden insists her husband could have beaten Trump in 2024 and served four more years in the White House.

The feeble 83-year-old lashed out at Trump and told the crowd: “There’s not time to give up. It’s time to get up.”

Biden also warned that “the very democracy is at stake.”

“We brought the country back from the brink,” Biden claimed.

On Friday night, former President Joe Biden made a visit to Sioux Falls as the keynote speaker of the McGovern Day Dinner.

The annual fundraiser dinner for the South Dakota Democratic Party brought hundreds to the Ramkota Exhibit Hall for the historic occasion.

It’s not every day that a former US President visits the Mount Rushmore state. In fact, it’s been nearly six years since the last presidential visit.

The annual McGovern Day Dinner comes on the heels of a primary election, and the state’s Democratic Party hoped that having former President Joe Biden in town would rally and unite the party.

Biden’s visit to Sioux Falls made him the 18th president to come to South Dakota. President Donald Trump last made stops in South Dakota in 2018 and 2020. Tickets for the McGovern Day Dinner or the chance to meet President Biden were sold out.
