Attorney Jeanine Pirro said Sunday that the Secret Service agent wounded at last weekend’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner was struck by buckshot fired from the suspect accused of attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump.

“We can now confirm that a pellet from the defendant’s Mossberg pump-action shotgun became embedded in the fibers of the Secret Service officer’s vest,” Pirro said during an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on State of the Union.

“It is definitely his bullet,” she also said.

Pirro’s office, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Washington, D.C., has filed multiple charges against Cole Tomas Allen in connection with the attack.
